Library
VCRC has a central library with 10,599 books and reports on Vector-borne diseases including Malaria, Filaria, Dengue, J.E
etc. The library subscribes most of the core journals and has complete set of back volumes for the journals such as Mosquito News, Review of Applied Entomology, Tropical Diseases Bulletin, Indian Journal of Malariology, Journal of Communicable Diseases, Indian Journal of Medical Research.
VCRC Library is one of the exchange partner of the United States Library Congress.
Library Information Services:
Library has developed a very good data bank named BIOME (Bibliography on Medical Entomology ) about 3 lakhs records with abstracts on Malaria, Filariasis, Dengue, JE, and other Vector-borne Diseases and their control.

- The library has compiled all the VCRC Publications along with abstracts under different subject headings and Analytical Research Output.

Computer Network:
The networking environment at the centre was recently upgraded with 
structured cabling through 4 powerful switches to enhance the speed of data transfer from the server to the nodes.
The two high end HP netservers namely,
VCRC-DS (Dataserver) - For accessing huge databases of the centre.
VCRC-IS (Information server) - For hooking websites on the centre and on Filariasis elimination cell.It also acts as a proxy server in providing internet connection to the LAN users.
Multimedia:
The centre has a full fledged multimedia section, engaged in,
- Preparing scientific power point presentations, Publication materials, Annual reports, and Manuals for information dissemination
- Slide shows for seminars, symposia and conferences.
- scaning and editing of photographs.
- Designing and updation of VCRC Website and lymphatic Filariasis Elimination website
- Designing and management of
Centralised data bank on Epidemiology of lymphatic filariasis Elimination and Control.
Photography and illustration:
Photography and illustration has a well equipped Dark 
Room for
processing black and white photographs.This section plays important role in field photography.
